How to Bridge Tokens Between Chains
Move Assets Between Blockchains
Use bridges to transfer tokens from one blockchain to another.
Step 1: Access Bridge
In your wallet, click "Bridge" tab
Step 2: Select Route
Choose:
- Source Chain: Where your tokens are now
- Destination Chain: Where you want them
- Token: What you're bridging
Step 3: Check Route Details
Review:
- Bridge fee (usually 0.1-0.3%)
- Estimated time (5-20 minutes typically)
- Minimum/maximum amounts
- Gas fees on both chains
Step 4: Enter Amount
Enter how much you want to bridge. Calculator shows you'll receive on destination chain (after fees).
Step 5: Approve Token
First transaction: Approve the bridge contract to spend your tokens. Confirm in wallet.
Step 6: Start Bridge
Second transaction: Actually bridge the tokens. Confirm in wallet.
Step 7: Wait for Confirmations
Your tokens are:
- Locked on source chain (wait for confirmations)
- Verified by bridge validators
- Minted on destination chain
- Sent to your address
Step 8: Verify Receipt
Check your wallet on destination chain. Tokens should arrive in 5-20 minutes.
Common Routes
- Ethereum → Polygon (cheap, fast)
- Ethereum → Arbitrum (very cheap)
- BSC → Polygon
- Avalanche → Ethereum
Troubleshooting
If tokens don't arrive:
- Check bridge status page
- Verify transaction on source chain explorer
- Wait full estimated time
- Add destination token to wallet (might not show automatically)
- Contact bridge support if still missing after 1 hour
