How to Connect Hardware Wallet
Maximum Security with Hardware Wallet
Connect your Ledger or Trezor for the highest level of security.
Step 1: Prepare Hardware Wallet
- Unbox and set up your device
- Write down recovery phrase
- Set device PIN
- Update firmware to latest version
Step 2: Install Required Apps
On your hardware wallet, install:
- Ethereum app (for EVM chains)
- Bitcoin app
- Solana app
- Polkadot app
- Any other chains you use
Step 3: Connect to OmniBazaar
- Open OmniBazaar wallet
- Click "Connect Hardware Wallet"
- On desktop, plug in your device via USB. On mobile, turn on Bluetooth and pair your device instead.
- Unlock device with PIN
- Select wallet type (Ledger/Trezor)
Step 4: Grant Permissions
- Your browser will ask for USB device permission
- Click "Allow"
- On device screen, approve connection
Step 5: Select Accounts
OmniBazaar will show available accounts from your device. Select which ones to import.
Step 6: Start Using
Your hardware wallet accounts now appear in OmniBazaar. Use them like any other wallet.
Making Transactions
When you send funds:
- Fill out transaction in OmniBazaar
- Click "Send"
- Transaction details appear on device screen
- Verify all details carefully
- Approve on device
- Transaction is broadcast
Security Tips
- Always verify transaction details on device screen
- Never approve transactions you don't recognize
- Keep device firmware updated
- Store recovery phrase securely offline
- Disconnect device when not in use
