How to Sell on OmniBazaar
Getting Started as a Seller
Anyone with an OmniBazaar account can sell. Create your first listing and complete your first sale to earn a First Sale Bonus of up to 500 XOM.
Creating a Listing
- Click Create Listing from the marketplace or your profile.
- Choose a category and fill in the product title and description.
- Upload clear, high-quality photos showing the actual item.
- Set your price in XOM or supported cryptocurrencies.
- Configure shipping options or digital delivery method.
- Publish your listing — it appears immediately on the marketplace.
Listing Requirements
Listings need clear descriptions, accurate photos, honest condition reports, and reasonable prices. Prohibited items include illegal goods, stolen property, and items that violate intellectual property rights. Community policing helps keep the marketplace safe.
Seller Fees
Sellers pay a 1% transaction fee on completed sales, split as follows:
- Referral fee (0.50%): 70% to your referrer, 20% to second-level referrer, 10% to ODDAO
- Transaction fee (0.25%): 70% to ODDAO, 20% to staking pool, 10% to protocol treasury
- Listing fee (0.25%): 70% to listing node, 20% to selling node, 10% to ODDAO
There are no upfront listing fees. Buyers don't pay platform fees.
Managing Orders
Track all your orders from My Orders. When a buyer purchases your item, ship promptly and update the order status. Payment is held safely until the buyer confirms receipt, then it's released to you automatically (this holding step is called escrow).
Building Your Reputation
Good ratings increase your marketplace reputation score (up to 10 points toward your Participation Score). Respond to messages quickly, ship on time, describe items accurately, and resolve issues promptly.
