How to Ship Items Safely

Ship Like a Pro

Proper shipping protects your items and leads to better ratings.

Step 1: Choose Packaging

• Box should be slightly larger than item
• Use new or like-new boxes
• Avoid reusing damaged boxes
• Consider branded packaging for professional look

Step 2: Protect the Item

• Wrap item in bubble wrap or foam
• Fill empty space with packing material
• Make sure item can't move inside box
• Use "Fragile" stickers if applicable

Step 3: Seal Properly

• Use quality packing tape
• Seal all seams and edges
• Reinforce corners
• Cover any old labels/barcodes

Step 4: Print Label

In your OmniBazaar seller dashboard:

1. Go to the order
2. Click "Print Shipping Label"
3. Choose carrier and service level
4. Print label

Step 5: Attach Label

Place label on largest flat surface. Make sure barcode is clearly visible and not wrinkled.

Step 6: Get Receipt

Drop off at carrier and get receipt with tracking number. This is your proof of shipment.

Step 7: Update Buyer

Mark the order as "Shipped" and tracking is automatically sent to buyer.

• Ship within 24 hours for best ratings
• Always include tracking
• Add insurance for valuable items
• Include packing slip inside box
• Consider including thank-you note
