Protect Your Purchase with Escrow

For high-value purchases, escrow ensures you're protected until the item arrives.

Step 1: Enable Escrow at Checkout

When buying an item, check the "Use Escrow Protection" box before completing payment.

Step 2: Funds Are Held

Your payment goes into a smart contract escrow instead of directly to the seller. Escrow protection is included — there's no separate escrow charge today.

Step 3: Seller Ships Item

The seller sees that payment is secured in escrow and ships your item with tracking.

Step 4: Track Delivery

Monitor the tracking number. You'll receive notifications when the item is in transit and delivered.

Step 5: Inspect the Item

Once delivered, carefully inspect the item to ensure it matches the description.

Step 6: Release Payment

If everything is good, click "Release Escrow" in your order details. Payment goes to seller immediately.

Step 7: If There's a Problem

If the item is wrong or damaged:

  1. Take photos as evidence
  2. Click "Open Dispute"
  3. Explain the issue
  4. Upload photos
  5. An arbitrator will review and decide
